Welcome to United Operations, there are a few steps you need to take in order to participate in the community. This entire process should take no more than 10 minutes.

Setting up Teamspeak

Teamspeak is the primary method of communication (after the forums) at United Operations. It is a voice communication program and is used in conjunction with ArmA, DCS, BMS and the vast majority of unofficially supported games like Elite Dangerous, Wargame: Red Dragon and War Thunder. In addition to providing a communication platform for in-game communications the community has social "barracks" channels where you can talk to and play games with community members.

We currently support Teamspeak v3.0.19.4, although the latest version should work. Download Teamspeak here --- https://www.teamspeak.com/downloads

Once you've downloaded and installed Teamspeak you will need to join our server located at ts3.unitedoperations.net.

The Server Password can be located under the Server Information links on the Forums --- Here http://forums.unitedoperations.net/index.php/page/servers

Make sure you Auth by clicking the Auth button in the navigation bar on the Forums. --- Here http://forums.unitedoperations.net/index.php?app=auth

Authenticating

Linking to your Steam account is not required unless you wish to play ArmA or with UOAF, although it is recommended regardless. https://forums.unitedoperations.net/index.php?app=auth
